From its inception in 1991 The Orlando Institute was conceived as a
prototype of a new type of theological
education, focusing on spiritual growth and spiritual multiplication.
The goal is to develop the leadership potential
of
men and women so they become teachers, pastors, evangelists, and
missionaries who will follow Jesus Christ and serve the peoples of the
world. We desire to equip servant-leaders to disciple the people of the
nations and build movements of spiritual multiplication.
Our educational philosophy focuses on the development of two areas:
spiritual formation (character) and readiness for ministry.
Biblical and theological knowledge and ministry leadership skills serve
these educational ends.
Our faculty are all men and women of high character and proven ministry
ability, as well as holding academic credentials. One hundred percent of the
faculty have been missionaries. Forty percent have been pastors. All have
experience in personal evangelism, discipleship and leading ministries.
Another component of the educational philosophy is mastery learning. If you
are willing to work hard at learning, our faculty will not let you fail.
Faculty and qualified trainers walk you through every step of ministry
development and academic learning.
This homepage will inform you of the program. Time with the faculty, staff
and students will show you our heart and vision. Please e-mail us for more
information.
Welcome to a new kind of education!
